Though this story has received extensive media attention, it is such a good example of the best of college sportsmanship that it is well worth re-posting here.
To support Lauren Hill of the Mount St. Joseph's Lions, an opponent stricken with a terminal tumor, the Hiram Terriers women's basketball team move the game, where they would play Lauren's team, a full two weeks ahead on their schedule, switched its location, and ceded home court advantage. Then, on game day, there wasn't a dry eye on or off the court.
