THE WESLEY WOLVERINES PLAY IN ONE OF THE MOST CHALLENGING SOFTBALL CONFERENCES in the United States! It is almost a certainty each year that the Wolverines will face nationally ranked teams (e.g., #2 Salisbury and #6 Christopher Newport this season) as well as a half dozen opponents who draw from student enrollments that are 3-5 times larger than Wesley's undergraduate class size.
THE TWEET BELOW WAS SENT OUT TODAY by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (@NFCAorg) about one of the Wolverines' ranked competitors.
Our congratulations to Rachel Johnson who, along with the Salisbury Sea Gulls, has always provided the Wolverines with one of the most anticipated and exciting games of the year.
SINCE THIS BLOG NEVER MISSES AN OPPORTUNITY to post our “Cat Osterman photo”, which, with apologies, we have done many times before and do so again now.
Posed below are Wolverines who also are sharing the spotlight with Cat, if just in a photo appearance. From the top, l-to-r, Cat Osterman (“@catosterman”), sophomore #18 C/3B Nina Marcano (Middletown, DE), junior #22 C/UT Morgan Seymour (Smyrna, DE), junior #8 OF Steph Caracozza (Melbourne Beach, FL) and sophomore #9 P/OF Lily Engel (Dover, DE).
