LAUREN REA

Nicole Thomas
Pitching instructor Nicole Thomas spent time this past season coaching the Wesley Wolverine pitching staff.  Click here for that blog story.

Nicole also has worked closely with Delaware pitcher Lauren Rea, a young lady diagnosed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome.

Please do read the whole story about Lauren's "can-do" attitude titled “SHE MADE NO EXCUSES” by Denny Tincher at http://tincherpitching.com/she-made-no-excuses/#more-1532

It ends with Lauren hurling 16 strikeouts in 7 innings of work!

#‎MotivationMonday‬ Lauren Rae is a 12-year-old with Guillian-Barre Syndrome. After long months of speech and occupational therapy and watching softball from the sidelines her family began looking for other ways to help overcome physical deficits. Lauren began to make a slow transition back to softball, starting lessons with Nicole Thomas and later transitioning to Shelly Farris, both Tincher Pitching Certified Instructors. Lauren’s doctor said the pitching lessons were doing more for her than physical therapy or anything else that he, as a neurologist, could suggest.‪#‎NoExcuses‬ Read the full story on Lauren's journey here:
