Wesley Wolverine softball begins on the third weekend of February when temperatures are projected to be 38-45 degrees through March 7 for the season's first four games before the team heads south for the warmer climes of Myrtle Beach.

Fans from past years also know about the swirls of wind that seem attracted to DuPont Field on the Wesley campus. Then, throw in the possibility of a cloudy and/or rainy day to top off the chill and a softball player may want to suit up in much more than just the Wolverine uniform.

Head Coach Juli Greep has asked the players to acquire white long sleeve and navy long sleeve base layer shirts for the early games. She recommends the brands Nike Pro Core or Under Armour ColdGear.

This year the team has already been issued the hard-to-find columbia-blue color long sleeve tops which complement the uniform colors as well.
