From the fdlreporter article
Softball champs four times

by small Oakfield high school

Successful formula from Wisconsin...

Oakfield High School's (Oakfield, Wisconsin) student body that numbers just 116 has now won four state softball championships since 2009!

FUNDAMENTALS @ WESLEY SOFTBALL CAMP:

WesleyWolverines always bring school pride
& stress softball fundamentals at the team's
annual Fall Softball Skills & Prospect Camp,
Dover, DE. Shown here, left-to-right,
working with recruits are freshman
#99 P/OF Lauren Hoffman (Middletown, DE)
and freshman #23 P/MI Destiny Davis
(Salisbury, MD).
How do they do it? The team cites three important reasons.

► FUNDAMENTALS: executing the most basic plays is drilled repeatedly into every Oakfield player.

► PRIDE: tradition and reputation proceeds them in games as well as in new incoming players' positive attitudes and expectations.

► COMMUNITY SUPPORT from a first-class youth softball program that develops players from an early grade school age.
