Stefany Tiberi Krygier enters
Wesley's Athletic Hall of Fame
Stefany Tiberi Krygier, as a Wesley undergraduate, set records that still stand in Wolverine field hockey and softball play. She has since gone on to become a recognized topnotch Delaware high school head coach in both sports as well as a superior field hockey camp coach and fastpitch pitching instructor.
Last night, Stefany poses with Tracey Short,
Wesley's
Associate Athletic Director for
Compliance, and current field hockey coach,
who also coached Stefany in field hockey
and softball. Ms. Short writes about Stefany:
“An exceptional athlete, a great teacher
and coach and so proud to
also call her one
of my best friends!!”

Now Stefany has added one more star to her shining athletic portfolio.
Last night in the Wesley College Chapel on Homecoming Weekend, Stefany was officially inducted into The Wesley College Athletic Hall of Fame. Stefany is just the sixth softball player to make the honored list.
Congratulations Stefany!
Her citation reads:
"Stefany Tiberi ('06) – Earning five All-PAC honors with three in field hockey and two in softball, Tiberi led the field hockey team to three PAC Championships and NCAA Tournament after being named PAC Championship Game MVP and All-Region in 2004. Named team captain in field hockey twice and once in softball, Tiberi still ranks seventh at Wesley with 19 career assists in field hockey and ranks among softball leaders in several categories. A member of the DIAA Field Hockey Committee, Tiberi coaches both field hockey and softball at Middletown High School after starting the field hockey team at Appoquinimink High School."
