Softball Prospect/ Skills Camp

This camp is designed for skilled softball players to advance their level of play and showcase their abilities for Wesley college coaches. The camp will emphasize mechanical and technical skills which include hitting, fielding, pitching/catching and base running. Athletes will showcase their abilities both individually and on a team. Players will also receive information from our financial aid/ admissions counselors. The camp runs 1 day with multiple training and information sessions.

Head Coach Juli Greep |
Juli R. Greep– Head Coach. Instantly changing the culture in the Wesley softball program, Coach Greep led Wesley to one of the largest turnarounds in the Nation in 2012. The Wolverines' 15 wins, after having just four the year prior, were its most since 2005. In 2014 Coach Greep lead the team to a 17 win season the most at Wesley in over 13 years. Under her tutelage, Ashlyn Booth also had one of the finest offensive seasons in program history and earned All-CAC, All ECAC and NFCA All-Region honors. In doing so, Booth was the first Wolverine to earn NFCA honors since 2007. In the 2013 and 2014 seasons 5 separate Wolverines have been named CAC players of the week and Outfielder Steph Caracozza received an all conference nod for her .427 batting average.
Asst. Coach Abby Cohen |
Abby Cohen– Asst. Coach. Coach Cohen is in her second year with the Wolverines softball pro-gram and is a former standout for Head Coach Juli Greep at Keystone College. She batted .371 with a school-record 156 hits, 17 home runs and 105 RBIs while ranking second with 111 runs scored and 40 doubles. Cohen also accumulated a .595 slugging percentage and .470 on-base percentage. Helped lead her 2013 team to the CSAC champion-ship game. Her primary responsibili-ties are to work with the hitters, catcher and outfield.

Camp Fee $110 includes camp registration, t-shirt, meal and a Football play-off ticket should the team have a home game the date of camp. (Registration is Due Nov 1st and is limited to 45 participants. Registration will close early if filled and no refunds will be given if accepted to camp)
CHECK-IN: Saturday Nov 22: 8:30-9am
1st Session (Hitting & Speed testing)– 9-11am. This is a required session.
2nd Session (Pitching and Catching) 11am-12:00pm
Lunch– 12:00– 1:30pm
3rd Session (Infield) 1:45:00-3:15
4th Session (Outfield) 3:30-5:00
Players are allowed to pick 2 of the last 3 sessions of the day. The session they are free will be used for a campus tour and a question session with current team members.
Spectators are not allowed at indoor sessions.
