“Spring Training plans are starting to finalize! We will be playing in "The Spring Games" at the national training center in Clermont FL. Games will be March 6th-11th. We will be staying in the Champions Gate Resort.

“There are houses for weekly rental in the same community we will be housed in for family and friends who plan to come down. Many houses are large enough to house 10+ people. Here is a link to homes close to us: www.villadirect "

FLORIDA TOURNAMENT: Our Wesley Wolverines will travel to Florida next March 6-11 (Sunday - Friday) to compete in the crowded and competitive Spring Games in the city of Clermont, Florida.



PFX ATHLETICS: hosts local, state, national, and International events on the Legends Way Ballfields at the National Training Center. Today, the largest event at the NTC Softball Complex is the Spring Games, held annually in February and March. NOTE: PFX Athletics is proud to announce its commitment to hosting a World Professional Softball Championship in 2019 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in the United States. 


THE SPRING GAMES. Two years ago, 275 teams registered. Last year 310 colleges journeyed to the sunny Central Florida event. Expect even more this year at what is promoted as “the biggest and best Spring games in the United States.”

WHERE IS CLERMONT, FLORIDA? Clermont is a small city in Florida, 22 miles west of Orlando. Clermont, which is known as the “gem of the hills,” is surrounded by gently sloping hills in an otherwise flat state. The historic downtown has not changed much in 50 years. Clermont is also home to one of the first constructed landmarks in Florida: the Citrus Tower.

The Elite Skills Softball Camp -- it's a great day to be a Wolverine! The camp will emphasize mechanical and technical skills including hitting, fielding, pitching/ catching and base running/ fitness, as well as mental techniques and approaches needed to be an elite softball player.

Put the finishing touches on a summer travel-ball season with an intense workout from college softball coaches and players.  
Sample of camp activity: pylo's/ agilities, individual drills and skills fielding stations, the defensive and offensive mindset, base running strategies, individual hitting drills and skills, live scenarios and scrimmage games.

Juli R. Greep – Head Coach


Instantly changing the culture of the Wesley softball program, Coach Greep led Wesley to one of the largest turnarounds in the Nation in 2012. In 2015 Coach Greep and her wolverines compiled a 23 -12 season shattering virtually every school record in history. Under her tutelage, Ashlyn Booth also had one of the finest offensive seasons in program history and earned All -CAC, All ECAC and NFCA All -Region honors. In doing so. Booth was the first Wolverine to earn NFCA honors since 2007. In the 2013 -2015 seasons, 7 separate Wolverines have been named CAC players of the week as well as 3 receiving All Conference nods in pitcher Lindsay Siok, outfielder Steph Caracozza & DP Kayla Fromal.
 

Brooke Donovan – Asst. Coach

Coach Donovan – Returns home to Delaware from Coastal Carolina University where she was a 4 year starter for the chanticleers, contributing 34 doubles, 10 HR, 65 RBI, and scored a career 100 runs. Named to the 2012 Big South All - Tournament Team after helping guide Coastal to its sixth Big South tournament championship.

Ashyln Booth -Hare – Asst. Coach

Coach Hare - A former stand out on the Wesley softball team, has returned to help guide the lady wolverines. Coach Hare was a 2x All CAC selection, NFCA All -Region and ECAC selection. She compiled a .385 batting average, 11 HR and contributed 55 RBI’s in her two seasons after an illustrious career at Del Tech.

NJAC FOOTBALL

Now 10 programs in new conference
Wesley Wolverine football
will compete in NJAC this fall


New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) has welcomed the Wesley College Wolverine football team, as well as Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) members Christopher Newport University, Frostburg State University, Salisbury University and Southern Virginia University as new associate football members.

Since first sponsoring the sport of football during the 1986-87 academic year, the Wesley Wolverines have made 11 NCAA Tournament appearances, including national tournament berths in each of the last 10 seasons.

In total now, the 10 programs that will compete in NJAC football during the 2015-16 academic year have combined for 74 conference championships and 64 NCAA Tournament appearances.
